I have had the most amazing few days. Wakeboarding on Thursday with a few awesome friends plus a few others. Had fun the whole day, wakeboarding better than I ever have before, teaching the learners how to get up, and all the boys helping my dad fix the boat trailer. I love my friends.
Then going out after work on Friday. Polished of a bottle of Moet while I was getting ready and Jess was dressing me. Dancing away to a night full of cheesy 90s songs and drinking from buckets. A night of firsts. And the best Oporto ever.
Today, waking up not even the slightest bit hungover, and dolling up for an afternoon of high tea. Afterwards, walking along Balmoral beach looking completely out of place in heels and pretty dresses, then changing into swimmers and continuing to strut along the beach in heels. Again, my friends are awesome. The fun continued in my backyard, soaking up the last few rays of sunlight with a bottle of red, an impromptu barbeque and a somewhat sensible little brother.
Now work for the next four or five days, but I don’t mind. I’d forgotten how much fun life can be.
